My name is Peter Dudek and I'm a "Rusty Pilot." It's been over 10 years since I've been in the Left Seat (or even inside a small airplane). But recently a number of factors have combined to inspire me to start flying again.
Being a "serial entrepreneur" I decided to create this Rusty Pilot Club as a way to force myself to actually do it. By creating this club, I HAVE to actually do something...not just think about it and wish about it.
I figure that if I can do it, if I WANT to do it, there are probably other people like me who would benefit from a social club for "Rusty Pilots" so I created one.
My goal is to make the Rusty Pilot Club your inspiration to join me in returning to General Aviation; and to do it SAFELY.
I'm working to make this club another resource for refreshing your knowledge, mastering the latest regulations, and polishing those flying skills. From reviewing essential flight maneuvers to demystifying new technologies, we'll be covering it all.
I'll be working to establish relationships with experts, flight instructors, air traffic controllers and leaders in the field of General Aviation. I'll be providing interviews as well as reporting on news and information you'll want to know.
I'll also be documenting my personal journey as a Rusty Pilot returning to the cockpit.
