Spanish Fork Airport aka Woodhouse Field is now my home airport. It's under construction now (much like this website) and they have some BIG plans for it!
This airport is also the home airport of the famous Mike Patey. He and his brother Mark have businesses here and an amazing hanger.
I was lucky enough to meet Mike Patey when our family went to the "Wings and Wheels" even at the airport in Spanish Fork. I was surprised and excited to discover the Patey brothers were there. I had been watching them on YouTube for quite a while when I lived in California.
I had no idea Mike and Mark Patey were here when I moved my family to Spanish Fork. In fact, at that time (Winter 2021) I had no plans to start flying again. I didn't even know where my certificate was.
But now, here I am, inspired by Mike Patey and others to take up flying again. (In fact, it was my son who gave me the final push to actually make the commitment to fly again.)
I will be editing this page frequently as I spend more time at the airport and get to know it and the people there better.
